This thread will be used to inform users of new versions of the software that has been released. There are 4 current packages available for download:

IP Viewer 1.3 has been released. A bug fix and two minor enhancements were added. Available at http://www.jrl-software.com

Tile Puzzle 1.1 has been released. This release includes some minor sounds and various enhancements that make the sliding part of the puzzle more intuitive.

IP Viewer 1.4 has been released. As far as I know this should be the last release. It implements all the functionality I want to implement right now. Bug reports of course will be fixed but I don't see anything new coming out right now.

Java IP Viewer has been released. This is a java version of the ip viewer software. It has been tested on Windows XP and Redhat Fedora 8. You can download the jar file from the site.

Tile Puzzle 1.2 has been released. The code is cleaner and now includes much easier tile moving, a nicer error message interface, and the ability to draw colored numbers on the tiles in case you can't solve the puzzle.

FileSort 1.1 has been released. You can now specify a number of characters to read from a file and it will read them. It parses newlines and tabs with spaces.

Filesort 1.2 was released today. It contains 2 minor bug fixes one spelling and one where if specifying a number of chars to read it wouldn't ignore the whitespace at the front of a file.

A few major announcements.

Filesort 1.2.1 has been released. This is a minor release that mostly adds the VC++ runtime to the msi installer. Also filesort has officially been released as GPL v3.0. You can check it out on sourceforge if desired.

IP Viewer 1.6 has been released. This was a .net application but getting users to install the .net framework was simply not working. Maybe now that windows 7 ships with the framework it will be different but for now I decided to move the app to a pure MFC/C++ application to allow access to more users. It's on download.com and the site will be updated soon!
